Nov 4, 2008 - Election Day - Please get out to vote. When you are in the booth I
would be honored if you select me as your County Legislator. I have knocked on
over 2600 doors and spoken to about 1100 people. I may have spoken to you or
someone in your family. I have worked hard to earn your vote. I have focused on
issues and listened to concerns. I tried to communicate back to the voters what I
heard and what I plan to do about it. I thoroughly enjoyed the questions and
debates. I hope to continue the dialogue as your County Legislator.
Communication will be key to good policy.

I voted this morning at the Johnson City Senior Center. I was surprisingly nervous. Seeing your own
name on the ballot for the first time is a very unusual experience. I'm glad we are still using the old
polling machines, at least that was familiar.
